What are the cosmetics containers

1. The materials of plastic bottles are usually PP, PE, K, AS, ABS, acrylic, PET, etc.
2. The cream bottles, bottle caps, bottle stoppers, gaskets, pump heads and dust covers that are usually used for cosmetics containers with thick walls are injection molded; PET bottle blowing is two-step molding, tube embryo is injection molding, and finished product packaging is bottle blowing. Camels such as lotion bottles and washing bottles with thinner container walls are blow bottles.
3. PET material is a material with high barrier, light weight, non-shattering property, chemical resistance, and light adaptability. It can be made into pearlescent, colored, magnetic white, and transparent, and can be used in filling gel water. The bottle mouth is generally standard 16 #, 18 #, 22 # and 24 # caliber, which can be used with pump head.
4. Acrylic material is injection molding bottle, which has poor chemical property. Generally, it cannot be directly filled with paste. It needs to be equipped with inner liner to block it. Filling is not easy to be too full. The paste enters between the inner liner and the acrylic bottle to avoid cracking. During transportation, the packaging requirements are high. It looks obvious after scratching, has high permeability, and feels thick on the wall, but the price is quite expensive.
5. AS and ABS: AS is more transparent than ABS and has better toughness.
1、 Material characteristics of container:
Plastic materials commonly used in cosmetics containers can be divided into two categories in terms of texture: soft materials and hard materials.
1、 Typical soft materials include PE polymer, PP polymer, etc. Their appearance features include:
1. Rear apparent characteristics: PE white waxy translucent material, soft and tough, slightly stretchable, lighter than water, able to match colors, but with poor brightness. Polypropylene transparent or translucent material, resistant to twists and turns. After color matching, the color of the material is bright.
II Typical hard materials include ABS copolymer, PMMA copolymer, etc. Their appearance features include:
1. Rear surface features: ABS material is opaque and light ivory. It can match colors and become other bright products with high gloss. It has the characteristics of toughness, rigidity and hardness. PMMA material is transparent, with light transmittance similar to glass, and has transparency in plastic, but its surface hardness is low. It is easy to be scratched and brushed by hard objects.
2. Container molding method: injection molding.
3. Surface decoration and post-treatment effect: the container can be printed, gilded, labeled, surface coated and other processes without surface treatment
4. Scope of application: ABS materials have poor compatibility with cosmetic interior materials. Suitable for making plastic cover, container shell, etc. PMMA materials generally exhibit the characteristics of glass-like transmittance as thick-wall plastic parts.
